Top Down Games on iOS in Costa Rica: Q2 2023 Performance

The second quarter of 2023 revealed interesting trends for the top down games on iOS in Costa Rica. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of the top five games: MONOPOLY GO!, 8 Ball Pool™, Block Blast！, Parchisi STAR, and Clash Royale.

MONOPOLY GO! from Scopely, Inc. experienced a significant rise in revenue, peaking around $2.4K in the last week of June. Downloads saw a downtrend, starting from 1.8K in early April and tapering off to approximately 844 by the end of June. Weekly active users (WAU) showed fluctuations, peaking at 2.3K in late May and settling at around 1.5K by the end of the quarter.

8 Ball Pool™ by Miniclip.com demonstrated robust performance with revenue hitting roughly $2.4K in the final week of June. Downloads rose steadily, reaching nearly 1.9K towards the quarter's end. WAU for this game also increased significantly, starting at 23.8K in late March and climbing to around 33.1K by the last week of June.

Block Blast！ from Hungry Studio saw a consistent download trend, peaking at 1.5K in early April and ending the quarter at approximately 543. WAU remained stable, peaking at 4.1K in early June before settling at around 3.5K by the end of June.

Parchisi STAR by Gameberry Labs had a relatively steady revenue stream, peaking at about $1.6K in early April and maintaining around $1.4K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at around 854. WAU was stable, peaking at 18.1K in early April and settling at around 16K by the end of June.

Clash Royale from Supercell showed a significant spike in revenue, peaking at approximately $3.5K in early June. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 756 in late June. WAU saw a peak of 31.5K in mid-June, ending the quarter at around 29.5K.
